About Me

Hi, I’m Ms KR and I’ve spent over 20 years immersed in the world of Children’s Books. Working for a major national bookstore chain, I discovered my passion for connecting kids with stories that ignite their imaginations and foster a love of reading. As a busy mom, I know what a challenge that can be.

Throughout my career, I’ve partnered with schools, teachers, and librarians in both Dallas-Fort Worth and New York City to find the perfect books for young readers, tailored to their interests and reading levels. Whether it was guiding a parent who didn’t know where to start or helping reluctant readers discover a book they couldn’t put down, I’ve seen firsthand the transformative power of the right story.

Now, I’m excited to bring that experience to families across the country. With our children’s book subscription box, I aim to take the guesswork out of choosing exceptional books for kids aged 9–12. Each box includes carefully curated titles, unique gifts, discussion questions, and fun surprises to make reading an adventure your child will look forward to each month.

How Does it Work?

Monthly Box Arrives

Your box contains a book that I have personally selected for its engaging story, compelling characters, and throught-provoking ideas. You will also receive additional book-themed gift items, one which will be personalized to your reader, and occasional surprises as well.

Read The Book

Over the course of three weeks, read and enjoy the book (along with the swag)! Take a read through the accompanying booklet for games, fun facts, discussion questions, and more.

Join the Optional Discussion

No social media needed! Just scan the QR code in your box to join our private live book club meetings via Google Meet at the end of the month (multiple meeting times available). If you can't wait until then, join our private discussion boards via Google Chat to share your reactions with the other Dragons.
